5 security personnel injured in firing as TMC groups clash in Sandeshkhali; crude bombs recovered

Five security personnel sustained bullet injuries when rival TMC groups clashed in Sandeshkhali's Baman Gheri area on Tuesday night, with miscreants opening fire on a joint patrol team, PTI reported. All five were initially taken to Minakha Rural Hospital before being shifted to government hospitals in Kolkata. This comes after the results of Assembly elections were declared, with TMC losing.
