5 Tejas MK1A aircraft ready for delivery: HAL as reports claim delay

Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) said that five Tejas Mk1A light combat aircraft (LCA) are fully ready for delivery, while another nine are awaiting engines. This comes after reports claimed that deliveries might miss the already extended March 2026 deadline due to a bottleneck in engine supply from the US-based manufacturer GE Aerospace. HAL stock fell over 6% intraday on Thursday.
