Five tourists from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district drowned in the sea at Ganpatipule beach in Maharashtra's Ratnagiri on Saturday. The incident reportedly occurred around 11 AM. "Preliminary information suggests the tragedy was caused by a failure to accurately gauge the sea conditions and waves," District Information Officer, Ratnagiri, said. The search for missing people is underway.
