5-yr-old not allowed food & water: SC as it fumes after judicial officers held hostage in Bengal

CJI Surya Kant passed strong remarks after seven judicial officers were held hostage in West Bengal's Malda by locals over alleged deletion from the SIR. "I had to verbally instruct very harsh orders at night. Five-year-old child [was] not allowed food and water," he said while slamming local authorities. He added that till 11 pm officers hadn't reached the spot.
