50% traffic fine waiver scheme launched in Bengaluru for 20 days

The Karnataka government has announced a 50% concession on pending traffic e-challan fines in Bengaluru, allowing vehicle users to settle penalties at half the prescribed amount between June 21 and July 10. The payment of pending traffic fines can be done at special counters at 12 locations. The scheme, also launched in 2023, had helped clear over 41 lakh cases.
