50 bulldozers, 2000 police officers deployed to demolish illegal Bangladeshi settlement in Guj

Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) demolished large illegal settlements near Chandola lake in Gujarat's Ahmedabad. Majority of residents were said to be illegal Bangladeshi migrants. "AMC conducted a survey in which it was found that illegal construction was done...A total of 50 JCBs are working here, and around 2,000 police personnel are deployed," a senior official said.
