50 lakh govt employees await 3% DA hike post-Dussehra

Central government employees and pensioners are awaiting the July 2026 DA and DR revision, with October 21 emerging as a possible announcement date. The expected three-percentage-point increase could raise DA from 60% to 63% of basic pay. The government has not confirmed the hike, but if approved retrospectively from July 1, eligible recipients would also receive arrears.
