50 lakh tonne waste yet to be treated at Mumbai's Mulund dumpyard

Over 50 lakh tonnes of waste is yet to be processed at the Mulund dumping ground in Mumbai, out of a total of 70 lakh tonnes of waste. Only 20.27 lakh tonnes of waste has been processed in the last two years at the dumping ground. "We've been looking for various solutions to process this waste," said a BMC official.
