50,000 jobless due to Delhi's new vehicle policy: Bike taxi group
The Apna Bike Taxi Association said the 'Delhi Motor Vehicle Aggregator and Delivery Service Provider Scheme' has made nearly 50,000 people jobless. The policy requires all bike taxis operating in Delhi to be electric. "Neither are there electric bike taxis available in the market nor do we've the money to buy them," the association told Delhi's Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena.
