500,000 sign up to be health service volunteers in UK amid COVID-19 crisis

In the UK, over 500,000 volunteers have signed up to support the National Health Service (NHS) in helping vulnerable people who have been told not to leave their homes during coronavirus crisis. As the coronavirus death toll reached 465, the UK government had called on fit and healthy adults to deliver vital supplies to up to 1.5 million vulnerable people.
