50.3°C maximum temperature recorded in Rajasthan's Churu today

Rajasthan's Churu recorded a maximum temperature of 50.3°C today, as per India Meteorological Department. On Saturday, the temperature reached 50.6°C in the city, close to India's record of 51°C recorded in Rajasthan's Phalodi in May 2016. Eight of the world's 15 hottest places in the past 24 hours were in India, according to weather monitoring website El Dorado.
