506 containment zones in Kerala, total COVID-19 cases reach 26,873

The Kerala government has said there are 506 containment zones in the state. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Monday declared that containment zones will henceforth be marked after tracing the primary and secondary contacts of a COVID-19 patient. Meanwhile, the state reported 962 COVID-19 cases on Monday, taking the total number of confirmed cases to 26,873.
