50-60% tweets govt asked us to block were harmless: Twitter to HC

Karnataka HC was told on Monday that 50-60% of the tweets that the Centre had asked Twitter to block were "innocuous" (harmless). Senior advocate Arvind Datar, who was representing Twitter, said Twitter admits that there are tweets which are not acceptable and Twitter routinely removed them. Datar stressed that blocking accounts rather than tweets was a cause of concern.
