51 Maoists with ₹1.61 crore bounty surrender in Chhattisgarh

More than 50 Maoists, carrying a combined bounty of ₹1.61 crore, surrendered before police in Chhattisgarh’s Sukma and Bijapur districts on Saturday. Of the 51 cadres who laid down arms, 34 were women. Bastar Range IG Sundarraj P said they were motivated by the state government’s surrender and rehabilitation policy.
