5.2 magnitude earthquake hits Uttar Pradesh's Lucknow

An earthquake of magnitude 5.2 on the Richter scale hit the north-northeast of Uttar Pradesh capital Lucknow at around 1.12 am on Saturday, the National Center for Seismology (NCS) said. The depth of the earthquake was 82 kilometres below the ground, it added. Reportedly, tremors were felt in neighbouring Lakhimpur Kheri and other districts of Uttar Pradesh and Delhi.
