52 schemes named after Gandhi family: Govt on MGNREGA renaming

Amid the debate over replacing MGNREGA with VB-G RAM G Bill, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan accused the Gandhi family of glorifying themselves by naming schemes, awards, airports, etc., after them. "A total of 25 state-level schemes are named after Rajiv Gandhi, 27 after Indira Gandhi....98 educational institutions are named after them and Jawaharlal Nehru," he said.
