520 km Gorakhpur-Siliguri Expressway to link UP & West Bengal

Work on the much-awaited Gorakhpur-Siliguri Expressway Greenfield project has picked up speed. But now, instead of passing through Deoria, the expressway will be rerouted through the eastern part of Thakurganj. The expressway, being built at a cost of ₹32,000 crore, is slated for completion by 2028. Land acquisition proceedings are also in their final stages.
