According to SocialCops analysis of Census 2011 data, 52.7% of Indian households reported not owning a television. Tamil Nadu had the highest rate of TV ownership, with more than 80% of households owning a TV in every district. Bihar had the lowest rate of TV ownership, with all but 2 of its 38 districts below 25% TV ownership.
