A 54-year-old Delhi-NCR woman with chronic GERD and difficulty swallowing was found to have a 1.5-cm benign oesophageal leiomyoma. Doctors at Kailash Hospital, Noida, removed the tumour and treated reflux in a single 50-minute minimally invasive endoscopic procedure. She resumed a full diet within 24 hours and was discharged the next day without complications.
