57-year-old sadhu held for stealing ₹5-lakh crown of Lord Narayan from Badrinath ashram

Uttarakhand Police have arrested a 57-year-old sadhu (monk) for allegedly stealing a gold, gem-studded crown of Lord Narayan from the Brahmrishi Sadhana Sangh Ashram in Badrinath Dham. The crown is valued at about ₹5 lakh. Police recovered ₹4,500 in stolen cash and the bag used in the theft. It is the third arrest in the ongoing investigation.
