58 lakh names deleted from WB's draft electoral rolls, 42 lakh from Raj

The Election Commission published West Bengal's draft electoral rolls following the Special Intensive Revision (SIR). According to data, 58,20,898 names have been excluded from the draft rolls, reducing the state's electorate from 7.66 crore to 7.08 crore. Additionally, 41.85 lakh names have been deleted from Rajasthan's draft rolls, according to state Chief Electoral Officer Naveen Mahajan.
