59 DMK MLAs reject TN CM Vijay's offer of free cars for all MLAs

DMK on Friday rejected Tamil Nadu CM Vijay's offer of free vehicles for all MLAs, citing the state's mounting debt. "Since...TVK...has been saying...that the government is in debt, all 59 DMK MLAs have decided not to avail this offer," LoP Udhayanidhi Stalin said. DMK's Saravanan Annadurai earlier criticised the proposal, saying the government should not spend public money on 'luxury'.
