5.9-magnitude earthquake strikes near Australia's Melbourne; no injuries

An earthquake of magnitude 5.9 struck near Melbourne in southern Australia on Wednesday, according to Geoscience Australia. The earthquake's epicentre had been near Mansfield in the state of Victoria. Minor structural damage to chimneys and older buildings was reported around Melbourne metropolitan area. Meanwhile, Australian PM Scott Morrison said there were no reports of serious injury.
