5-day work week for all bank employees can be a reality soon

Bank employee unions have written to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman seeking a 5-day work week approval for lenders, stating customer service hours won't be cut while assuring this long-standing demand can be met subject to IBA and ministry consent this year itself. Customer service hours won't be impacted, as per the reports. Govt can accept this request.
