5-member SIT to probe Ludhiana gas leak in which 11 people died

Punjab Police has formed a five-member team to probe the gas leak incident in Ludhiana that claimed 11 lives on Sunday. Authorities initiated a night-long decontamination process in the Giaspura area. Caustic soda was put in drains and sewerage lines to counter the hydrogen sulphide build-up.
