6 lakh devotees expected in Pune's Dehu, Alandi for annual 'palkhi'

Around six lakh devotees are expected at Pune district's Dehu and Alandi for the annual 'palkhi'. The walking wari tradition has resumed after a gap of two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Pune Police Commissioner Amitabh Gupta said a detailed traffic diversion and monitoring plan has been prepared for both the 'palkhis' coming to Pune on Wednesday.
