6 people sentenced to 20-yr in jail in 2017 actress gang rape case

Prime accused Pulsar Suni and five others were sentenced to twenty years of rigorous imprisonment and a fine of ₹50,000 each in the 2017 gang rape case of a leading Malayalam actress. The court also ordered Pulsar to pay an additional fine of ₹2 lakh. This comes after the court recently acquitted actor Dileep in the case.
