6 persons die after lift collapses in high-rise building in Thane

Six persons were killed and some others sustained injuries after a lift collapsed in a high-rise building in Thane on Sunday, the Thane Municipal Corporation has confirmed. Yasin Tadvi, who heads the disaster management cell of the civic body, informed that the building where the incident occurred is located on Ghodbunder Road.
