6 Secret Service agents suspended for lapses during Trump's assassination attempt

Six Secret Service agents have been suspended over lapses linked to the attempted assassination of US President Donald Trump in Pennsylvania on July 13, 2024. The suspended agents include a counter sniper and an agent who had Trump’s detail that day. At least two of those agents are reportedly appealing their suspensions. The gunman's bullet had grazed Trump's ear.
