Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar on Tuesday congratulated the security forces in Pathankot and announced that six terrorists have been killed in the encounter. Parrikar added that the combing operations will continue till the base is fully secured. He also conferred 'battle casualty status' to all the martyrs and announced ₹25 lakh in compensation to the families of the deceased.
