6-yr-old boy drowns in 15-foot-deep water pit in Greater Noida colony

A six-year-old boy drowned in a 15-foot-deep pit at a residential complex in Greater Noida, with residents alleging that there were no barricades or warning signs. The boy was playing with other kids when he fell in the pit dug for boring work. In January, a 27-year-old Noida techie died after his car fell in a water-filled construction pit.
