60% flyers say airlines not following govt's fare caps: Survey

Nearly six in ten people who tried booking domestic flights said airlines are not following the government's temporary airfare caps, according to a nationwide survey by LocalCircles, which received 25,519 responses from flyers across 291 districts. The Ministry of Civil Aviation imposed the fare caps on December 6 following the IndiGo crisis. Fares were capped based on distance.
