60% of F&O trades to get impacted: Kamath on SEBI's new F&O rules

Zerodha's Nithin Kamath said SEBI's new framework for futures and options (F&O) trading could impact around 60% of overall F&O trades. "Assuming that those trading weekly don't move on to trading monthly, the impact will be 60% of overall F&O trades and 30% of our overall orders," he stated. SEBI has increased the contract size and limited weekly expiry contracts.
