60-foot giant wheel ride collapses in UP's Kushinagar, 30 injured

At least 30 people were injured after a 60-foot-high giant wheel ride collapsed at a fair in UP's Kushinagar on Wednesday night. Those who were injured were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. The ride was reportedly carrying nearly 80 people and collapsed due to poor anchoring and safety lapses, the preliminary investigation revealed.
