600-year-old Buddha statue found in Chinese reservoir

A 600-year-old statue of Buddha has been discovered in a reservoir in China after its water levels were lowered due to a renovation project. An archaeologist said the 12.5-foot-tall statue could be from the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). The base of a hall was also discovered, leading archaeologists to believe that a temple could have existed there.
