60-yr-old Mumbai man cheated of ₹10.50L by man he met on WhatsApp

A Mumbai man (60) was duped of ₹10.50 lakh by one 'D Newton', he met on WhatsApp and who said he'll come to Pune from US to visit his hospitalised mother. Later, a supposed customs officer asked complainant to pay penalties, among others, in Indian currency as Newton was detained at Delhi airport for carrying huge amounts of foreign currency.
