61,000 PUC certificates issued in 24 hrs after curbs in Delhi

Over 61,000 Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificates were issued in Delhi within 24 hours of the implementation of anti-pollution restrictions. During this period, around 568 non-compliant vehicles were turned back. This comes after vehicles without BS-VI engines were banned from entering Delhi and vehicles without PUC were barred from getting fuel amid high pollution levels.
