Tamil Nadu Medical Services Corporation has blacklisted 24 drugs and medical devices including syringes, aspirin, antibiotics, and vitamins, in last 8-months after finding them substandard with severe side-effects including death. A senior official of TNMSC said, "These aren't dangerous or spurious drugs, they just didn't meet standards." Notable point is many products blacklisted in the past are back into business.
