An earthquake of 6.3 magnitude hit Davao Del Sur province in southern Philippines on Sunday. According to Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, tremors were recorded at a distance of six km from Magsaysay town and the depth of the earthquake was 15 km.The institute added that the earthquake was tectonic in nature and will trigger aftershocks and damage.
