Almost 64% urban Indians said they were virgins at the time of marriage according to the India Today Sex Survey 2016. The study, conducted on urban Indians between 20 and 69 years in 17 cities, revealed that 64% urban Indians have a high sex drive. While 43.2% respondents said they have never watched pornography, 59.5% claimed they do not masturbate.
