65% of India's LPG is imported & 90% of it comes via Hormuz Strait: Sitharaman

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman told Rajya Sabha on Tuesday that 65% of India's LPG is imported and 90% of those imports come from Strait of Hormuz. She added that despite LPG supply concerns, India's "power sector today stands as a big support". The Finance Minister further said there are no shortages as generation capacity has more than doubled since 2014.
