65-yr-old clerk jailed for stealing ₹121 crore meant for the poor in Denmark

A 65-year-old clerk has been sentenced to 6.5 years in prison after she was found guilty of stealing over ₹121 crore of Danish government funds intended for the poor. Britta Nielsen was accused of diverting funds to her own accounts over a 25-year period until 2018. Nielsen admitted at her trial that the money had become an addiction to her.
