At least 66 people were killed, and dozens were injured after a military plane carrying over 100 people crashed shortly after takeoff in Colombia. The Lockheed Martin-built Hercules C-130 transport plane was taking off from Puerto Leguizamo, on the border with Peru. The plane was believed to have suffered impact near end of the runway as it was taking off.
