66 hard disks with film data stolen from Zoya Akhtar's office; losses feared to run into crores

Around 66 hard disks containing sensitive film and web series data reportedly went missing from Mumbai office of filmmakers Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti’s production company. The missing devices and data were estimated to be worth ₹12–13 lakh, though insiders fear losses could reach crores if unreleased content leaks online. Police arrested two people, including a staff, for alleged theft.
