67% MSMEs temporarily shut, profits dipped for 66% in FY21: SIDBI survey
A SIDBI survey showed that 67% MSMEs were temporarily shut for up to a three-month period in FY21 due to COVID-19. The survey, with a sample size of 1,029 MSMEs across 20 states and two UTs, also found that 66% MSMEs reported decline in profitability. The results were shared by MSME Minister Narayan Rane in the Lok Sabha on Thursday.
