67 villages, 60,000 people affected by flood in Assam's Lakhimpur
Over 60,000 people have been affected by the flood situation in Assam's Lakhimpur district. As many as 67 villages and about 545 hectares of crop area are said to be submerged due to flood waters in the district. More than 10,000 domestic animals and poultry have also been affected.
