Brazil thrashed Sweden 5-2 in the FIFA World Cup final on 29 June 1958 to lift their first-ever World Cup trophy. Brazil legend Pele, who was just 17 years old at that time, bagged a brace, while Vava and Zagallo netted the other goals for Brazil. Notably, Pele remains the youngest player to have appeared in a World Cup final.
