69% of India’s salaried workforce is not prepared for financial emergency: Report

According to a survey conducted by Finsafe, 69% of India’s salaried workforce is not fully prepared for a financial emergency, relying on employer-provided cover or remaining completely unprepared. Meanwhile, 55% of the respondents said they were unprepared for expenses in case of job loss. Around 70% identified retirement planning and children’s education as their biggest financial challenges.
