69-year-old gets leadless pacemaker after repeated infections

A 69-year-old Bihar woman with complete heart block developed infections after two conventional pacemaker procedures. Doctors at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Patparganj, treated her with a dual-chamber leadless pacemaker. The device avoids a chest pocket and connecting wires. She recovered uneventfully and was discharged two days after the procedure in stable condition.
