7,229 corruption cases with CBI pending trial, 409 for over 20 yrs

According to the annual report by the Central Vigilance Commission, 7,229 corruption cases investigated by the CBI are pending trial in different courts. The cases include 409 cases that are pending trial for over 20 years, while 1,612 are pending for less than three years. Of the total, 1,347 cases are pending for over 15 years but less than 20.
